The Eco Hostel Fundadora is an initiative of rural community tourism, integrated in the Cooperative the Reformation, we seek that our clients take a unique experience of sustainable tourism through our services, such as lodging, food, events and activities Tourist attractions.
The hostel has been supported by the Sustainable Tourism and Conservation Program, the NGO La Cuculmeca de Jinotega, the Mesoamerican Eco Tourism Alliance, Matagalpa Tours and USAID Funding, Ecodes, UNDP, Government of Aragon, Friendship Germany Solingen; And thus we have managed to develop and open our services to the public.

For the comfort of our visitors we have accommodation services in rustic cabins, backpacker's dormitory and camping for adventurers. We offer: Hiking, horseback riding in the meadows and rural roads, coffee tour, Agrotourism. Excursions to the Datanlí el diablo nature reserve, a magical place with rural landscapes, gorges, mountain ranges and valleys that you should not miss.
